Step-Free Experience
All major elements of The Magic of Christmas – including your journey through the experience and your visit with Father Christmas – take place on the ground floor.
These areas are accessible for:
- Wheelchairs
- Pushchairs
- Guests who prefer to avoid stairs
Upstairs Areas
Some optional parts of the historic building are located upstairs and are only accessible via stairs, as there is no lift on site.
These areas are not essential to the core experience, so you won’t miss any key moments if you remain on the ground floor.
Surfaces & Terrain
As with many heritage sites, some areas include:
- Uneven pathways
- Gravel or grass surfaces
- Wooden walkways which may be slippery in wet weather
We recommend wearing appropriate footwear and taking extra care, particularly in winter conditions.
Facilities
- Accessible toilets are available on the ground floor
- Baby changing facilities are available
- Blue badge parking is available on site
- Seating and rest points are located throughout the experience
- Wheelchair loan is available (pre-booking recommended)
Additional Support
If you have specific access requirements, we’re always happy to help where we can.
Please contact us ahead of your visit so we can ensure your experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Our Approach
We believe magic should feel inclusive, not exclusive.
While we can’t change the nature of a historic venue, we can design an experience that ensures everyone can be part of the moments that matter.
